4 Days 3 Nights Siem Reap Tours (CB01)
Day 1 Siem Reap Arrival
Arrive at Siem Reap airport and transfer to Hotel.Visit Roluos Group, which served as the capital of Indravarman I and whose ruins are among the earliest permanent temples built by the Khmer. The group marks the beginning of Khmer classical art. See the temple of Preah Ko (erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century and dedicated by the King to his ancestors) Bakong (the largest and most interesting of Roluos groups temples with it active Buddhist monastery) and Lolei (built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir by Yasovarman I, the founder of the first city of Angkor).
In the afternoon visit Ta Keo, Thomanon, Chau Say Teveda and Ta Prohm, one of the area's most visited temples. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Its appeal lies in the fact that unlike the other monuments of Angkor, it was swallowed by the jungle and looks very much the same as most of the monuments of Angkor must have appeared when European explorers first stumbled upon them.
